STARR Restaurants is currently seeking a high-level Chef de Cuisine to lead the culinary operations of our well-known, highly regarded Morimoto restaurant in the Chelsea neighborhood of NYC. The successful candidate should have a progressive culinary background that has fundamental understanding of the diversity, fine touches, bold flavors and unique finesse of Asian cuisine. In this role Chef de Cuisine has responsibility for day shift food production; overseeing quality, technique, portion, presentation, food cost, menu pricing and menu innovation.
-MUST have prior CDC or Exec Sous Chef experience directing a team at an high-volume Asian cuisine focused restaurant -Minimum of 3 - 5 years Industry and Culinary Management experience -Culinary focused Associate's or Bachelor's degree
