As Executive Pastry Chef, you would be responsible for directing and administering the planning, preparation, production and control of all pastry production in the groups continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
-Direct, oversee and participate in all pastry, & bakery production and operations, to include, but not limited to, quality preparation and presentation of pastries, desserts and baked goods, compliance with all safety and sanitation standards and regulations, team member productivity and performance, implementation of policies and standardized of procedures, cost controls and overall profitability
Primary responsibilities will include the management of day to day operations with a major focus on all aspects affecting or relating to production of recipes and the menu. Duties will principally include but will not be limited to managing kitchen staff, driving consistency in recipe and menu execution, establishing and maintaining high standards of cleanliness, managing costs & inventory, and generally enforcing quality standards in all areas. Position will report directly to the Chef.
Daily duties and responsibilities will include:
-Opening/ Closing Procedures/ including overnight baker staff
-Directing staff during business hours
-Managing consistency of menu & recipe execution
-Managing relationships with foh mangers about all products and dietary restrictions
