Title: Chef de Partie
Job Description Year round employment. Popular, well-established, small, and reputable restaurant serving Bavarian cuisine. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings.
Skills: Possess well-rounded kitchen experience in all areas including preparation, culinary, sanitations, presentation, requisitioning and issuing for food production; ability to assist Executive Chef with inventories, cost controls, preparation of daily menu of soups, sauces, and specials; knowledge and experience in proper and safe handling of cooking utensils and kitchen equipment; experience and desire to work and excel in specialty area of desserts.
Other skills: Ability to work as a team and take direction; work in a small kitchen area; ability to spend majority of time standing or walking for extended periods of time; frequent lifting of 5-50 pounds; Proven ability to work well under pressure; catering experience a plus.
