|Position Description:||A new restaurant coming to DC is looking for an Executive chef! But not just anybody, if you see yourself as a star and someone who can cook and run a kitchen that everyone would talk about in town then you are the one. |
People are eating healthier every day. They are more aware of their environment and care more each day. That's who we are. We want to bring seasonal, local ingredients to the table and match it with the best cocktail, beer and wine out there to put a smile on our guests face and do our best to keep our community green.
The Executive Chef will be responsible for menu planning, provisioning, food preparation, and galley sanitation. The position demands creativity on a daily basis, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain the highest of culinary standards.
Applicant should also work well under pressure, be organized, flexible, self-motivated, willing to work long hours, and have a great sense of humor. Supervisory experience would be beneficial as well.
Requirements include a minimum of 5 years full-service, high quality restaurant experience. Culinary degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
Other pluses include, a positive mental attitude, well groomed, and an outgoing personality.
