|Position Description:||Q Hospitality Management is recruiting on behalf of our client, a "once in a life time" position that has come available at the legendary and iconic Ray's Boathouse in Seattle Washington.|
We are looking for a candidate with depth when it comes to his/her experience. Preferably a previous Executive Chef from a high volume (seafood focused) location with 2 million in sales and a proven track record. If you have worked in the past at a high volume, "casual fine dining", seafood location (preferably Seattle) we want to talk to you.
A candidate who is very focused in the kitchen, a natural team leader and who is very financially savvy, constantly staying on top of budgets and costs. Someone who embraces farm to table, snout to tail, ocean to table style of cooking.
3-5 years cooking and management experience in high-volume full-service restaurant kitchen (minimum $2 million sales annually).
Comprehensive seafood knowledge a MUST, with ability and desire to taste everything created. Positive pro-active management style, ability to lead by example and motivate crew. Hospitality oriented with acute attention to detail, personable with a sense of humor and the ability to be seen on the floor by the guests.
Flexible schedule, PM shifts, weekends included.
This is an Executive Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine position, essentially a #2 reporting to the Executive Chef.
In this position you will assist in managing the culinary team and menu at both Ray's and Ray's Cafe, spending most of your time; off the line focusing on menu creation for both locations.
Looking for a start date of ASAP.
Salary, an incentive and some relocation available. An exceptional benefits package is available to the qualifying candidate.
