The Inn at Plametto Bluff, an Auberge Resort, is a AAA five diamond multi-faceted Resort located in the scenic Low Country of South Carolina. The Inn was named the 2012 #1 Best Hotel in the USA by News and World Report. The Club Sous Chef has responsibility for planning and preparing menus and leading a culinary team in executing the dining experiences in the Inn's private dining room; golf grill;and the seasonal pool and snack bar.
The position will interface with members, guests, F&B Management team and Catering teams to create memorable dining experiences for Palmetto Bluff residents and Resort guests. The places of operation include the Canoe Club Restaurant, May River Golf Grill, and the family oriented Pool and Fitness center.
Minimum requirements include 4 years cooking and and leadership experience in a 4-5 diamond or 4-5 star hotel or restaurant,ability to supervise, train, and inspect the performance of assigned kitchen employees, ensuring that all procedures are completed to the Auberge Standards, while working within budgeted guidelines. Requires hands-on performance to ensure optimum guest service. Provides support, training, direction, and focus; helps employees to have continuous success.
