Cooper Avenue is a 21st century food industry concept that will revolutionize the marketplace. Cooper will satisfy the culinary needs of the Mac generation by offering smart value, consistent quality, variety and by creating a powerful emotional bond with the public.
Cooper Avenue is many things: a high-energy restaurant serving fresh, creative dishes, a seafood and sushi counter, a lounge bar, an open bakery, a pastry shop, a deli; a coffee shop, a corner bar; and a market selling a wide variety of products. The design is fresh and exposed, there will be free wi-fi, Art, and a state-of-the-art sound system.
Miami Beach's Cooper Avenue is located on 17th street and Pennsylvania Avenue.
It opens in late September.
Job Purpose
The Lead Pizza Cook is responsible for supervising and assisting in the preparation of pizza for all outlets, while maintaining the highest standards to produce an appealing and appetizing product. He/she is also responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, sanitation and safety in the kitchen, and storage areas while minimizing waste and maximizing cost/production ratio.
Job Qualifications Culinary
Education:
-High school diploma or equivalent preferred -Culinary School degree, completed apprenticeship or equivalent experience required -Food Handler's certification may be required Experience: -Minimum 4 years of culinary experience as a professional cook required -Must have the ability to read and write in English
