|Position Description:||Soon to complete a 30 million dollar renovation? Rancho Valencia Resort & Spa in North San Diego county is currently forming its re-opening culinary team! We will re-open with a brand new state of the art kitchen, a gorgeous re-concepted Restaurant and an amazing new bar that seats 80+ guests.|
Under the leadership of Executive Chef Eric Bauer, our culinary team is going to soar! We are seeking strong culinary professionals for various positions- line cooks, prep cooks, overnight cooks and more! A culinary degree is preferred or, without a culinary degree, a minimum level of work experience is required.
Our A.M. and P.M. Cooks are responsible for preparing and planning for breakfast, lunch and dinner items. The culinary team maintains the established standards of quality, knows assigned menus and must be able to assist other employees as needed to maintain a successful culinary operation. All team members must be flexible and willing to perform any task to better service and will openly accept and positively respond to a changing environment. Competitive pay up to $16 per hour
The Overnight Cook prepares and serves food items for guests and employees during the overnight shift. The person in this role completes nightly prep work and prepares for the breakfast shift, maintains established standards of quality and knows the assigned menus. The overnight cook must be self-motivated, dependable, willing to work overnight as the lone culinary person on the 3rd shift and must be successful with minimal supervision! Elevated pay will be offered for the right candidate in this overnight role.
