James Beard award winning Chef Ken Oringer celebrates 13 years in operation at his flagship Back Bay restaurant Clio. Clio currently is accepting resumes for the Pastry Chef position. Position will include the following responsibilities:
Creation of all desserts, petit fours and mignardises
Management and effective maintenance of bread program
Making of all ice cream, sorbet and gelato
Working within the culinary management team on creation of dishes
Ordering and inventory of all produce for Clio, Uni and the Eliot hotel
Scheduling staffing and training of pastry staff and interns
Ideal candidate should have minimum one year pastry chef experience, a genuine interest in food and wine, and the desire to learn from a talented culinary team. Candidate should be prepared to inspire, lead and mentor all BOH staff to provide the highest level of product to all guests. This is a position with great opportunity for growth within Clio and within Chef Ken Oringer's restaurant group.
