The Lodge at Glendorn seeks a pastry chef to join the team.
The ideal candidate must be a motivated self-starter with excellent communication, and organizational skills.
The Pastry Chef will develop new dessert menus for the restaurant and special events. A minimum of two years in the pastry field as well as a degree from a culinary arts program is preferred. Ability to produce specialty cakes and wedding cakes is also desirable. The position also has some responsibilities for cooking breakfast for hotel guests seven days a week, as well as baking fresh breads each day for the restaurant. The Pastry Chef is also responsible for creating and preparing 6-7 desserts that will be served in the restaurant seven days a week, using fresh, local, and seasonal items.
