Position Description:Fifth Group Restaurants, Atlanta's most innovative restaurant company, is in search of one incredible individual for the position of Sous Chef at South City Kitchen Midtown. As Fifth Group Restaurants enters its 20th year in business we continue to grow our company and therefore are looking to add to our management team. We currently operate six chef-driven concepts in Atlanta along with an off-premise catering and design company, and we are looking to add to our team.

We are looking for an outgoing, energetic culinarian with at least three years of from scratch, high volume, casual-fine dining BOH management experience. Experience in Southern cuisine is not mandatory, but an advantageous quality in a candidate. This position includes all aspects of kitchen and shift operations including expediting, ordering, staffing, staff education, food production, line shifts and flawless shift execution. A qualified candidate must be a leader who can coach and develop employees as well as implement and execute systems in a fast paced environment. You must possess excellent organization skills, communication skills, have an eye for detail, and a strong commitment to employee satisfaction as well as the total guest experience.

Qualified candidates will possess:

3 years experience managing in a high volume, casual, fine-dining kitchen
A high level of passion and knowledge of food and cooking technique
Strong operational skills including financial accountability
Ability to manage, coach and develop employees
Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
An eye for detail and a strong commitment to total guest satisfaction
