Trattoria Neapolis is currently interviewing Sous Chef candidates. We are a new 150 seat, food focused, upscale-rustic, market driven Italian restaurant with an award winning Chef and a highly experienced GM currently completing construction in Pasadena. The restaurant will have a full menu of antipasti, pasta, pizza, salads, secondi, contorni and desserts.
Our chef values making items such as pasta, bread and salumi in house. Trattoria Neapolis has a prime location in a beautiful building with abundant free parking. We have a top restaurant designer and a multi-million dollar buildout. We own the building, which is being completely renovated including a brand new kitchen including a wood burning oven and wood burning grill. We'll have 24 wines by the glass with a focus on California and Italy, a wine list created by Diego Meraviglia and Alessia Botturi--two of LA's top Italian wine professionals---and custom made temperature controlled wine storage.
We'll feature 14 beers on tap (and more by the bottle), craft beers from LA County and Italy on a beer list created by Christian Perozzi, who LA Magazine called LA's top beer sommelier, a dedicated keg cooler, and Hallie Beaune--our in-house beer sommelier. We have a high quality mixology program of classic and creative cocktails created by Vincenzo Marianella, called the Godfather of the LA cocktail scene who was just nominated for American Bartender of the Year. We're proud to be working closely with Stumptown coffee, one of the nation's premier super premium roasters. The restaurant is on track for an early July 2012 opening.
