|Position Description:||Skokie Country club was established in 1897. Located in Chicago's prestigious north shore we are a very high volume club that caters to some of Chicago-land's most affluent clientele. The cuisine ranges form casual-comfort to fine dining and changes on a seasonal and daily basis. The sous chef position works very closely with the executive sous and executive chef. |
He or she would assist in the daily operation of the kitchen, providing professional leadership and direction to all kitchen personnel. Ensure that all recipes, food preparations and presentations meet the clubs specifications and commitment to quality.
Ideal candidate must be able to work under pressure situations and be hands on with strong communication and organizational skills. Must ensure proper opening and or closing procedures. Ability to speak and comprehend Spanish is a plus.
