The New Concept Restaurant at the Lodge at Pebble Beach, opening late July of 2012, has an immediate opening for a Full-Time, Restaurant Manager. The new restaurant is designed with an open-air atmosphere with abundant natural light and views of the 18th green of Pebble Beach Golf Links and Stillwater Cove. Eclectic, international dishes prepared with wood-roasting and open flame cooking. Restaurant will extend into a glass-enclosed conservatory offering outdoor dining with fire pits.
The ideal candidate needs to be a talented, outgoing, and insightful individual with a successful history of restaurant management. The individual's experience needs to include a strong financial background, problem solving and proven leadership skills. This candidate needs to have a full breadth understanding of the inner workings of executing the policies and procedures of a full range restaurant. In addition, the individual needs to be a "hands-on manager" being able to work in each facet of the restaurant as needed. A true leader with the ability to lead successfully with a variety of staff members in a union environment. Dedicated to providing excellent service in an atmosphere that demands expectations being exceeded on a daily basis. Must have at least 3-5 years of successful restaurant management preferably in a resort or hotel environment.
