Position Description:
The Brasserie Restaurant (located on Grand Cayman Island in the Caribbean) is seeking high energy staff who are passionate about the hospitality industry. Our ideal applicants are responsible team players with strong communication and interpersonal skills, who will fit into our very tight-knit team with ease. Applicants should be well traveled and able to adapt quickly to the island way of life. Excellent English language skills are a must. Those who are focused on providing exceptional customer service, possess a warm and welcoming personality and a strong work ethic are strongly encouraged to submit an application.
We enjoy a mainly repeat executive clientele, so a minimum of three years work experience serving sophisticated / fine dining clientele is a must.
Our business is growing and we presently have two positions available:
-Food & Beverage Server -Bartender / Mixologist
For both positions proficiency in the MICROS point of sale system and Open Table reservation management program is desirable but not essential. Those applying for the bartender / mixologist position must also have experience and / or an ability to develop a seasonal cocktail menu that incorporates garden fresh ingredients where possible. They should also be happy to assist with serving should the need arise.
We would require a minimum 15 month commitment and we require an immediate start.
