The Peninsula Hotel is seeking an exceptional Chef de Cuisine for the Signature Fine Dining Restaurant. This role involves overseeing the running of the Sir Elly's 13th floor restaurant and private dining facilities, as well as the 14th floor rooftop terrace. International experience at management level, gained within a fast-paced and five-star operation is a must.
A passion for food as well as a solid background in both classic and modern cooking techniques and the delivery of unparalleled guest experiences is essential. Candidates must have a positive humble approach to cooking, managing, and interacting with guests and co-workers.
The ideal cooking style would be ingredient-focused, with a straight forward approach with surprising flavour combinations and modern touches.

Cooking school or apprenticeship diploma Very Hands on Strong leadership and teamwork skills Assertiveness Planning and time management Two years as Chef de Cuisine in a five-star restaurant or hotel Proficient in written and spoken English
