Opening June, 2012 our new restaurant will feature Chesapeake Bay, regionally inspired cuisine located in a vibrant, warm welcoming setting that will set the benchmark for dining in Annapolis and be the place Annapolitans gather!
Loews Hotels is seeking an experienced General Manager with pre-opening experience in an upscale independent restaurant to lead our new Culinary concept. As the General Manager for the Restaurant that "happens to be located at a hotel, but is not a hotel restaurant", you will be the driving force on the opening team and will be responsible for establishing the next best restaurant in Annapolis! Essential job responsibilities include pre-opening, talent selection, training, sales, and service of this 130 seat, three meal restaurant and room service.
Other responsibilities include the oversight of the culinary and mixology programs ensuring we are fulfilling our promise to the guest and company mission. All other related duties and responsibilities including, but not limited to organization, planning, marketing, maintenance, appearance and inventory.
The Restaurant will open mid year 2012, with this position in place by the beginning of the second quarter 2012.
Reporting to the Restaurant GM is the Restaurant Executive Chef, Room Service and Restaurant staff.
