Pippin Hill Farm & Vineyards is looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team! We are Charlottesville's newest winery and event venue, and our operation encompasses both our daily Tasting Room operation and large banquet events. Our signature Vineyard-to-Table Cuisine and dedication to the local food movement define our food philosophy.
The Sous Chef will be an integral part of all aspects of our kitchen operation; he/she must work well in a team environment, perform well under pressure, and be able to take constructive criticism. Leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential.
The applicant must have at least three years of experience cooking in a full-service a la carte restaurant as a lead line cook; experience in private dining or banquets is a plus. ServSafe Certification required.

Compensation includes a base salary, annual bonus potential, and individual health insurance coverage. There are considerable opportunities for growth in the position as we look to expand our business to other east coast destinations, with a combination of a la carte restaurants and event venues.
