Catering Chef Wanted for NJ Picnic & Catering Facility

Applicants to this position must reside within a 90 mile radius of the property.
The chef will assist with the daily operations of the kitchen, providing professional leadership and direction to catering and event operations; a commitment to quality and consistency to include: recipes, food preparations, and presentations.
This must be done to the company's specifications and direction. The chef will be responsible for maintaining a safe, orderly and sanitized kitchen and demonstrate this by example, using proper food handling techniques. Reporting directly to the catering director, this position will assist in ordering, menu development, cost control, and supervision/training of staff.
Candidates should be prepared to run a kitchen with high expectations of themselves and those around them. This person should be energetic, motivating, and creative as well as having the discipline to stay calm and productive in stressful situations. Previous experience in high volume, upscale dining is preferred. Strong organizational skills are a must.
