Atlanta's most innovative restaurant company, is in search of an experienced and energetic Executive Chef to join our team and assist in developing and opening our next great restaurant. We will be opening a lively, full-service, seafood restaurant and bar, named Lure in the heart of Midtown Atlanta in the spring of 2012. The restaurant will feature sea-to-plate, globally influenced seafood specialties as well as an offering of standard seafood favorites. We currently operate five chef-driven concepts in Atlanta along with an off-premise catering and design company, and we are looking to add to our team.
This is a position that involves management of all aspects of the kitchen operations, including menu development, staffing, scheduling, training, Sous Chef development and shift execution.
This individual will also exude pride in culinary excellence, demonstrate bold and innovative food skills, and be capable of sound, profitable management techniques.
They must be a leader and able to coach and develop employees as well as develop and implement systems in a fast pace restaurant environment. He/she will possess excellent organization skills, communication skills, time management skills, an eye for detail and a strong commitment to total guest and employee satisfaction.
Job Requirements include:
-Minimum four years Executive Chef experience in an upscale restaurant -Seafood cooking experience mandatory -Proven menu creation skills -Proven track record with P&L/Food Cost accountability -Purchasing/Inventory control experience -Staffing, scheduling abilities -Manager development/training skills -New restaurant opening experience a plus.
