St. Regis Bal Harbour is hiring a Baker
Responsibilities:
-Pastry preparation and decorating, baking, sanitation and organization. Must have excellent knife skills, food knowledge, as well as knowledge of proper sanitation practices.
-Under limited direction from Pastry Chef and from kitchen supervisor, mix ingredients to make and bake pastries and breads and other prepared goods.
-Completes any special orders as required.
-Closely follow daily lists.
-Responsible for cleaning bakery equipment by closely following daily and weekly cleaning lists.
-Responsible for organizing products in preparation for baker.
-General knowledge of mixing and making baked goods is preferred.
-Must be able to function under limited supervision.
-Flexible overnight schedule required.
-Able to communicate verbally, and understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
