|Position Description:||The Pastry Chef supervises, participates, coordinates, directs and administers all phases of the food production in order to maximize profit and maintain high standards and quality for the pastry shop. |
Develop new dessert menus for banquets, as well as other club outlets, which include fine dining and casual restaurants. A minimum of three years in the pastry field is required.
A degree from a post-secondary culinary arts program is preferred. Ability to do decorative showpieces for buffets is also desirable.
