Job Description, Responsibilities & Qualifications
Michael Chiarello's premier Napa Valley, fine dining Italian restaurant, Bottega Ristorante, is seeking an experienced, talented, and extremely creative Pastry Chef. This position has real opportunity for growth and is open in October 2011.
Candidates must have 5 years comparable pastry experience and the ability to collaborate on menus and developmental growth of the restaurant. Bread experience is helpful. Must have experience in developing, writing, and costing menu items. They must be professional in their work habits and appearance. A good attitude, strong leadership and the ability to properly communicate with co-workers and management are essential skills for all of our team.
Daily duties include:
Production and service of a la carte dessert menu, tasting menus when needed and private party menu items. Management of department team and budget. A detailed Duties and Responsibilities description is available for qualified candidates.
