Cedar Restaurant is seeking a qualified Executive Chef to lead our team and help expand our menu within the concept of ?The Great Outdoors Meets Urban Setting?; utilizing ingredients that are seasonably available, local, fresh and modern. The candidate must have multiple years of experience in fine dining, a personality to effectively and efficiently manage a small team of our staff.
Applicant should also work well under pressure, be organized, flexible, self-motivated, willing to work long hours, and have a great sense of humor. Supervisory experience would be beneficial as well.
Requirements include a minimum of 4 years full-service, high quality restaurant experience. Culinary degree or equivalent experience is also required.
Cedar, an intimate fine dining restaurant, is located in the vibrant and up and coming Penn Quarter neighborhood of Washington DC.
