|Position Description:||Located in San Francisco, Michelin starred Quince Restaurant seeks executive pastry chef. Candidate would be responsible for directing, managing and overseeing all aspects of the pastry department and bread production for two restaurants; Quince and its casual off shoot Cotogna. |
Responsibilities would include the development and execution of desserts for a chef's tasting menu, oversee production of all plated desserts, sorbets, chocolates and petit fours. Develop and monitor presentation, production and service of Cotogna lunch and dinner desserts.
Candidates would posses extensive knowledge and technique of the pastry arts both traditional and modern. Ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience with increasing levels of responsibility in a fine dining environment. Strong work ethic, excellent communication and organizational skills required.
