|Position Description:||The Bernards Inn, New Jersey's only four diamond hotel and restaurant, is looking to fill the Chef de Cuisine position. The candidate must be passionate, hard working, professional, and be committed to creating the perfect dining experience. The chef de cuisine will work closely with the executive chef in planning seasonal menus, costing, ordering, scheduling, and training the kitchen staff to ensure a consistent product. |
The position also requires involvement in our garden and continued relationships with our local farmers. As well as writing a monthly blog and being involved with charity and promotional events.
3 -5 years experience in a sous chef or chef de cuisine position in a fine dining restaurant is required. Must set the highest standards and be a positive roll model for all employees. Must be well versed in the classics as well as modern cooking techniques.
