Independent upscale Artisan Italian Restaurant seeks experienced Working Executive Chef to direct the overall culinary operations for our Wood-fired Pizzeria-Trattoria-Wine Bar located in the upper Midwest.
The restaurant has solid reputation, and is positioned for growth.
We have been open since July of 2009.
With sales of over 2 million dollars annually
50 seats main dining room with open show kitchen concept
50 seats in new wine bar
40 seats on our new expanded outdoor covered patio
Our goal is to be known as the finest Artisian Pizzeria-Trattoria-Wine Bar in the U.S. We are planning on opening 9 more restaurants across the country in the next 3 to 5 years
The successful candidate must be a hands-on trend setter in the culinary world in terms of innovative cuisine, presentation and most importantly providing a quality product with a no-compromise approach to food preparation and presentation as well as appreciation of the importance of the administrative and business aspects of managing a kitchen.
Our new Executive Chef must be a proven leader and able to provide leadership and professionalism and to contribute to our ongoing success and will work closely with the Front of the house Co- Manager and must be customer service oriented.
Responsibility of leading the culinary team in an upscale Artisan environment that has a prime focus on its food operations. The Executive Chef will also be responsible for menu development, consistent execution, purchasing, staff scheduling, training, food and labor costs, financial performance/cost controls, and kitchen cleanliness/maintenance.
Ability to relocate to the upper Midwest the ideal candidates should have at least 5 years of experience at the Working Executive Chef or comparable level, culinary degree preferred, self starter, strong communication skills, strong management skills, detail orientated, strong team-building skills, and be computer and P.O.S. proficient.
