Position: Kitchen Supervisor - San Diego Marriott Hotel and Marina
Location: 333 W Harbor Dr San Diego, CA 92101
The San Diego Marriott Hotel and Marina, located at 333 W Harbor Dr San Diego, CA 92101 is seeking the most creative and dynamic high-caliber culinary talent to join the opening of a New Authentic Mexican Cantina!!!
We are seeking a talented Kitchen Supervisor who exudes leadership, is independent and goal-oriented with a culinary background (preferably in Mexican or Latin cuisine).
Duties include: Supervise and coordinate activities of 5-6 cooks total. Determine how food should be presented and create decorative food displays. Ensure proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish to be served while monitoring the quality of food prepared. Assist kitchen staff with preparing food. Maintain stock of kitchen supplies and food and complete ordering. Maintain kitchen logs for food safety program and food products. Responsible for scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating and coaching employees. Flexible schedule is required, especially weekends. Bi-lingual applicants preferred.
