|Position Description:||Executive Sous Chef needed for upscale and fine dining concept. Must have scratch cooking experience and the ability to design menus on a daily basis . Ability to lead a high volume kitchen is a must. This company offers an outstanding opportunity for a creative chef with a solid background in managing, ordering, and directing a crew. |
The Executive Sous Chef reports to the Executive Chef and assists in supervising kitchen operations to ensure residents and guests receive an exceptional culinary experience, ensures that all kitchens provide food in accordance with the highest standards of quality, and maintains a safe and sanitary work environment for all employees. Other duties include menu planning, preparation of budgets, and management of food cost. Specific duties involve food preparation and the establishment of quality standards, working with the Dining Commitee, training of employees in cooking methods, presentation techniques and portion control. Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor.
