|Position Description:||Seeking an Executive Chef for the Dolce Lake Las Vegas Resort. |
The 349-room resort, formerly managed by The Ritz Carlton Hotel Company, is a Tuscan-inspired Lake Las Vegas resort, featuring 33,000 square feet of function space and a 30,000-square foot spa opened in 2003 as part of a 3,600-acre, master-planned community centered around the Mediterranean-themed MonteLago Village, noted for its boutiques, restaurants and clubs.
Ideal will have 7-10 years of excellent culinary management experience with at least 5 years as an Executive Chef, preferably at an upscale resort with multiple outlets and high volume banquet/catering experience. Candidate must possess strong leadership skills as well as training and development skills in managing a large team. Responsibilities include purchasing all food, developing menus, maintaining approved food and labor costs,ensuring quality preparation of all menu items and proper handling/storage of all food items in accordance with standards.
Local candidates preferred
Educational Requirements: Culinary degree and ACF certification preferred. Serv Safe certification required.
