Position Description:We are seeking a passionate industry leader & role model who is engaged, self-motivated and able to excel under pressure in the constantly evolving environment of a living theatre. Works with a high level of integrity, communicating and demonstrating efficiency in our culture of fantality, half-way between fantasy and reality. A highly efficient Culinarian with the unquenchable desire to practice one's craft in the art of multi-dimensional cooking.

We are currently seeking candidates for the AM and PM shifts.

Tasks/Responsibilities
-Constantly talk to employees about our standards and their importance to our success.
-Comfortable discussing potential challenges with staff members and higher up managers.
-Develop workable solutions to solve routine department and guest-related issues.
-React quickly and effectively to unplanned operational needs.
-Accept the need for flexibility and respond to evolving circumstances.
-Able to handle multiple conflicting priorities.
-Challenge working methods and concepts; question the existing situation.
-Encourage employees to come up with operational innovations.
-Results oriented and tackles unforeseen problems constructively.
-Checks own work for accuracy and sets up procedures to guard against mistakes.
-Apply good judgment, able to bend a rule for a guest in order to create an excellent experience.
-See coaching and developing others as an important part of the job.
-Create a learning environment where learning is respected and attended.
-Shows a healthy work-life balance and encourages the same in others.

Minimum Requirements
-Eight years professional culinary experience.
-Encourage and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
-Positive can do attitude, exceptional communication skills and the ability to articulate complicated ideas to all staff including senior management.
-Has a strong personal presentation; always well-groomed.
-Remain calm under pressure; manage your mood.
-Self-motivated; ability to excel under pressure.
-High level of written and verbal communication skills.
-Expertise in product identification and use.
-Expert skill set in international cuisine and technique.
-Ability to consistently cook food to the temperature requested.
-Certified in food safety and sanitation.
