Executive Chef: Run all aspects of the kitchen including but not limited to: Menu planning: seasonal menus, bar menus, daily specials, Cleanliness and Sanitation: to oversee daily/weekly check lists Equipment Maintenance: Oversee proper cleanliness and upkeep Food Preparation: Supervise daily prep, bulk prep, bakery, and specials Employee Training: We consider this to be an ongoing job and very important
The position demands creativity on a daily basis, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain the highest of culinary standards. Applicant should also work well under pressure, be organized, flexible, self-motivated, willing to work long hours, and have a great sense of humor. Supervising and Training Staff is a MUST.
Requirements include a minimum of 5 years full-service, high quality restaurant experience. Culinary degree or equivalent experience is also required.
