|Position Description:||This culinary position requires as at least two years of previous line cooking experience and a fundamental understanding of kitchen operations, as well as good communication skills. A culinary degree, free standing restaurant or related hotel experience is preferred. Candidates should be able to perform all basic and intermediate cooking skills including preparation of soups, sauces, stocks, frying, broiling and like duties.|
This position will require you to work in multiple areas of the food and beverage operation at the request of the chef or posted work schedule and require that you stand for long periods of time, as well as lift 10 - 40 lb of weight.
This position is also responsible for:
- producing a consistent product
- timing of food production
- quality assurance
- strong communications with co-workers and guest
- self driven
- basic computer skills
- update mise en place sheets
- problem resolution
