Executive Chef, Lake Powell Resorts and Marinas

Position Description:Location (ARAMARK at Lake Powell Resorts and Marinas):
Lake Powell Resort is located on the south shore of Lake Powell, five miles from Glen Canyon Dam, and 10 miles from Page Municipal Airport. This location is also 10 miles from downtown Page, 15 miles from Horseshoe Bend, 20 miles from Antelope Canyon, and 30 miles from Navajo Canyon and Rainbow Bridge. The property's amenities include the outdoor pool, kids' pool, poolside bar, Rainbow Room (the main restaurant with Southwestern specialties), Bene Pizzeria (made-to-order pizzas), Java City Espresso Bar, and marina with watercraft rentals, boat tours, and dinner cruises (seasonal). The hotel also includes indoor dining and concierge services.

Position Description:
We are currently seeking an Executive Chef to oversee all operations at Lake Powell Resorts and Marinas (peak and non peak), a multi component site including onsite restaurants, coffee shops, convenient stores and in room dining. Essential skill set includes, ability to train, develop and manage all levels of culinary staff in a diverse environment, with emphasis on leadership, financial, and organizational skills. He/she will be responsible for implementing and supporting corporate food initiatives focusing on product standardization, product consistency, and regional cuisine, throughout complex. He/she will be responsible for ensuring proper safety (HACCP) and sanitation at Component and throughout region is maintained.

Candidate Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will possess a bachelor's degree or related culinary degree with 10+ years of industry & culinary management experience. Our Executive Chef must possess the following qualities and experiences:

?AOS/BS in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience
?Minimum of 10+ years of industry & culinary management experience.
?Ability to manage in a diverse environment with focus on client and customer service
?Knowledge and previous experience with HACCP
?Ability to control cost - food & labor
?Understanding, support and development of sustainable cuisine
?Experience in demonstration cooking
?Menu writing and development ability
?Computer literacy including word processing and presentation software
?Personnel development and culinary leadership experience
?Personnel training.
?Organizational skills and ability to introduce or implement and execute S & E culinary program and brand development regionally
?Full P&L accountability and/or contract-managed service experience is desirable.
?Working in a Union house environment.
