Responsibilities: - Bring creativity to the art of pastry preparation on a daily basis - Assume responsibility for menu planning and provisioning - Ensure galley sanitation - Maintain high Pastry standards in keeping with the Patina Restaurant Group's reputation for excellence - Having knowledge and experience of current pastry trends
Requirements: - Baking and Pastry Arts degree and 6 years' proven experience in a similar operation OR equivalent education and experience - Experience in French pastry preparation - Fluency in the primary language(s) of the work location - Strong organizational skills - Supervisory experience - Able to lead a team - Good communication skills - Able to work well under high pressure - Can handle receiving criticism - 1 - 2 years cooking experience in a foreign country desired but not preferred
