Blue Hill at Stone Barns is looking for skilled, career-minded line cooks in search of a unique career in the restaurant industry. Over the past 10 years, co-owners Dan, David and Laureen Barber have cultivated a unique farm-to-table experience at their two restaurants: Blue Hill, in Greenwich Village, and Blue Hill at Stone Barns, located on an 80-acre working farm and educational facility 30 miles north of midtown Manhattan.
Dan Barber, Blue Hill?s Executive Chef/ Co-Owner, is regarded as an expert in the field of sustainability and local agriculture. In spring of 2006, Dan received the James Beard award for Best Chef: New York City, and in 2009 was named James Beard?s Outstanding Chef. Time Magazine featured him in their 2009 edition of ?Time 100,? an annual list of the world?s most influential people.
