Do you like to make children smile, is the farmers market your idea of shopping, can you be a role model for two impressionable young people? If so, we need you!
We are looking for a caring, fun and energetic individual to take care of our family, and prepare dinner each day for our busy household of 4 and lunch for the following day. Must have interest in preparing delicious healthy low cal/low-carb meals for a family that often eats at different times. We are two professionals (banker and food magazine publisher) with two small children (11 & 13) all of whom are very discriminating eaters.
Must be willing to do light housekeeping and run errands as needed including planning dinner parties, packing lunches, picking up children up from activities, shopping and going to the farmers market.
Ideal schedule is 45 hours/week Mon-Fri starting at noon finishing around 8-9pm. Must be able to work the occasional Friday or Saturday evening and stay late as needed or come in early.
HOURS: M-F Approximately noon to 8-9pm. Occasional Friday or Saturday eve (1-2 per month), and one late evening per week.
CHILDCARE TASKS: Picking up children from school/camp and taking them to their activities Helping them with their homework Preparing children for bed Planning activities, keeping them out of trouble and keeping tabs on them Keeping them well-groomed and making sure kids are happy
COOKING: Plan, shop, and prepare healthy low-carb meals
HOUSEKEEPING: Tidying up daily - we have a housekeeper that comes twice/month for the heavy cleaning Change linens every two weeks Laundry Run errands, schedule other workers as needed
QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with pre-teens, food preparation, and housekeeping. Drivers license preferred. Energetic personality, must love children, and must be very organized.
COMPENSATION: $500/week
