Position Description:
Experienced Pastry Chef needed for upscale Brooklyn bakery.
We specialize in elegant cakes and desserts, so the successful candidate has to be able to decorate at the highest level. Experience with French desserts a plus.
In addition to creating desserts, you will supervise, participate, coordinate, direct and administer all phases of the food production in order to maximize profit and maintain high standards and quality for the pastry shop. This is a part time position with flexible scheduling.
You'll have the chance to develop new dessert menus and recipes, as well as learning the secrets to our perfect challah and eclairs.
Local candidates preferred.
