Magnolia Bakery is seeking individuals with previous general management experience in a fast paced, high volume bakery, restaurant or retail store environment. We are looking for energetic managers with positive management skills and a strong focus on customer-service who can direct and supervise all functions of the bakery. Ideal candidates will have great leadership qualities, ability to motivate and lead our team, ensure the highest quality products and service, are able to build customer loyalty, and drive store performance.
As a general manager, you will be responsible for the following essential job functions: ? Working closely with fellow managers to lead daily bakery operations and management of employees in a busy store atmosphere. ? Oversee the scheduling of the production of products in a manner that will ensure timely delivery of the freshest bakery products possible. ? Certify product quality. ? Ensure store presentation is consistent with Magnolia standards. ? Serve as a model for providing exceptional personalized guest-centric service throughout the bakery, as well as in the community. ? Promote and maintain a positive work environment by providing leadership and motivation to staff. ? Ensures consistent execution of standard practices and other policies and procedures by abiding by all company policies as stated in the Employee Manual. ? Discipline employees up to suspension, pending investigation, for terminating offences, in order to maintain a safe and productive work place. ? Reinforces sanitation, security and safety guidelines.
Required Experience: ? Qualified candidates should have at least 2-3 years of general management in experience overseeing 20 or more employees in a Food Service or Retail Service environment. ? Leadership skills including strong ability to inspire and motivate diverse group of individuals ? Problem solving and trouble shooting skills. ? Cross-organizational coordination.
This is a full time position. Candidates must be available to work all shifts if needed which includes evenings, early mornings, and weekends. Work scheduled will be 45-50 hours/week; 5 days/week.
