Working in remote Alaska is for the creative and adventurous! We are seeking a chef to join our culinary team for our 2010 summer season. This is a four month commitment beginning May 15, 2010. Within The Wild Adventure Company owns Winterlake Lodge, a small wilderness lodge one-hour small plane flight north of Anchorage at the edge of the Alaska Range. We cater to upscale adventure-travel clientele. Our chef is part of our management and leadership team that works closely with owner Chef Kirsten Dixon, an award-winning chef and cookbook author. Winterlake Lodge is well known for its intimate and unique wilderness setting. The lodge has a staff of twelve people. We offer a multisport overnight program and feature journeys into the Alaska backcountry. We are looking for a team member who has advanced culinary skill.
