Position Description:
We are currently looking for a talented Sous Chef for COAST Global Seafood, a stylish, 300 seat upscale-casual seafood restaurant located in the Shops at Legacy in Plano, Texas.
Responsibilities:
? Training, supervising and working with culinary staff to prepare, cook and present food according to company standard recipes in order to create quality food products ? Scheduling culinary staff so that proper coverage is maintained while keeping payroll costs in line ? Maintaining sanitation standards ? Monitoring and hands on control over daily food production ? Monitoring safety of staff ? Maintaining a clean and safe work environment ? Assuming responsibility for kitchen in absence of Executive Chef
Requirements:
? Minimum of 2 years culinary supervisory experience in an upscale restaurant ? Excellent cooking skills ? Understanding of food and labor cost controls and effective inventory management ? Spanish speaking is a plus ? High volume experience on line production
