Position Description:Sous Chef---Calistoga Ranch (Napa Valley)Individual will be responsible for insuring proper execution of restaurant operations. Organizes and conducts meetings with the kitchen and service teams. Monitors kitchen teams performance, product quality and production flow. Maintains orders and organizes inventory for multiple outlets. Ensures kitchen is in compliance with health, safety and sanitation standards. Train, supervises and assists in evaluating staff.

The ideal candidate must possess the following traits:

- A passion for cooking, teaching and leading
- Possess a work ethic that seeks to exceed guest expectations.
- Has a coaching style that motivates others to achieve organizational, restaurant and individual goals.

Demonstrates judgment and decision making by identifying relevant issues in complex situations; and seek information and assistance from appropriate sources.

Job Requires:

- Computer Skills in Outlook, Word and Excel
- Strong Excellence Reflex
- Accountability and Dependability
- Have a minimum of 2-3 years experience in kitchen management.
- Flexibility in work schedules with a desire to learn.
- Food Handlers Card / Serv Safe Certification

Knowledge of local purveyors and farms is recommended
