Crepe Maker - Jean Philippe

Position Description:* Actively greet guests within 30 seconds in a positive, friendly manner and making them feel welcome
* Exhibit proper knowledge, selling techniques and service delivery of all items in the crepe menu
* Do necessary prep work in all products used in making crepes
* Refill crepe menu products, viennoiserie, pastries, gelato, ice coolers, reach-in beverage coolers, reach-in pantry coolers and condiment drawer
* Maintain the cleanliness and the appearance of the front, dining area, back area and all storage areas
* Convey a friendly and approachable attitude at all times
* Effectively communicate with management, chefs and culinary staff in order to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests and or other employees
* Acquire all the ingredients of menu items for guests who may have allergies
* Prepare authentic French-style crepes
* Inform guest that we have extended services keeping the quality of the products in regards to shipping
* Exhibit knowledge of retail pastry for wedding and special occasions
* Create relationships with the guests to encourage repeat visits
* Communicate well in professional manner with the co-workers about food orders
* Prepare and serving food and beverage items to guest as necessary
* Pack the orders as per guests? preference and completing the order with any necessary condiments
* Be aware of expiration dates of crepe batter and other ingredients used in making crepes
* Ensure all products are rotated on a first-in, first out philosophy
* Use and clean equipment such as crepe machine, whipped cream machine, warmers, juicer, coffee maker, toaster, Panini machine, blenders, soda machine, ovens and steamers
* Maintain stock volume by restocking the sales floor, receiving, unpacking and putting away deliveries
* Ensure all requisitions are processed properly and placed in designated area
* Maintain a level of professionalism that will make guests want to return to Aria Resort and Casino
* Follow the Department standard in opening and closing the restaurant
* Unload warehouse orders and stocking the orders to designated storage
* Work as a team, assisting all guests? and employees? needs and inquiries
* Follow all procedures and policies set forth by the company, division and department
* Comply with all health and safety regulations
* Other related duties as necessary

* At least three years of experience as a bakers? helper specializing in European chocolates and French pastries
* Two plus years of customer service experience in a similar high-volume, fast-paced restaurant environment
* Knowledgeable about food and able to confidently speak on and properly serve such items
* Ability to read and write in English
* Knowledgeable about health and safety regulations
* Basic math skills and the ability to use a calculator
* Good communication skills
* Ability to use standard kitchen equipment, including, but not limited to crepe machine, whipped cream machine, toasters, refrigerators/coolers, slicers, beverage machines
* Capability to follow directions well, make quick decisions, and keep organized while under pressure
* Physically able to lift and carry at least 50lbs
* Capability to walk without assistance on various surfaces for an extended period of time
* Professionally groomed in a manner consistent with department grooming standards
* Positive attitude, self motivated, energetic and is a willing learner
* Preferred: Fluency in language(s) other than English
