Executive Banquet Chef
Company Name:Sunriver Resort

Position Description:

Assist Executive Chef in all phases of managing the special events kitchen operation, to include, but not limited to: meet established financial goals; exceed guest satisfaction targets; and improve associate satisfaction goals.

- Completion of two year culinary degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of five years experience in a high volume banquet operation (resort experience preferred); with three years being a supervisory role
- Experience in managing managers and hourly culinary team members
- Creativity in plating presentation, buffet layout, and buffet flow
- Ability to train, mentor, coach team members
- Ability to work well with others
- Ability to work flexible hours and days

- Ensure the highest standard of quality control and menu development in the special events kitchen
- Plan and execute multiple banquet functions
- Manage commissary production
- Supervise resort stewarding operations
- Hire, train, supervise, and schedule kitchen personnel, to increase productivity and exceed guest expectations
- Demonstrate a high level of culinary skills
- Continually enhance the culinary experience of special events guests
- Manage food and labor costs to meet financial goals
- Coach and mentor Sous Chefs and Hourly Culinary Team members to reach desired goals
- Complete all paperwork as assigned
- Direct staff in sanitary food handling techniques
- Display understanding of Sunriver Resort's appearance standards
- Attend all mandatory meetings
- Comply with all Sunriver policies, procedures, and safety regulations

Responsible directly to the Executive Chef. Must maintain a good working relationship with other departments, employees, and guests. Provide support services to those who directly interact with the public daily.
