Located next to Barney's at Scottsdale Fashion Square, Modern Steak will offer a radical departure from the traditional American Steakhouse. While steak, seafood and potatoes continue to take center stage, these classics will be updated and reinterpreted to reflect the lifestyle and preferences of today's more sophisticated and discerning guest. Expect entirely new interpretations of familiar dishes offering fresh and innovative presentations that will appeal to both men and women. The menu offers a selection of mouthwatering appetizers, quality steak and seafood dishes, tantalizing sides and salads, and decadent desserts. Modern Steak will also offer a temperature controlled wine display and extensive wine list featuring more than 400 wines from all around the world. With an open seating dining room, full-service bar, large outdoor patio, sleek, sexy urban decor and glass enclosed exhibition kitchen, Modern Steak will be the perfect place for its glittering guests to "see and be seen."
This is an excellent opportunity to join the Fox Restaurant Concept team. We are currently looking for a dynamic, detailed and imaginative chef with strong leadership, superior culinary skills and menu development experience.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of progressive management experience with extensive knowledge of steakhouse favorites, detailed seafood and sous-vide techniques.
Must have hands on management style with strong communication and organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse staff.
