The Latin American restaurant La Fonda Del Sol reopens in the Met Life building at 200 Park Avenue in Manhattan 47 years after its inception. The Patina Group commissioned Tihany Design to conceive the new space. Tihany's innovative design techniques have breathed an inspired second wind into the redesigned restaurant for a modern, lively, and inherently Latin American result.
Located in the New York City, Midtown East, La Fonda Del Sol will be opening late Winter. Featuring fine dining in a luxurious setting, the restaurant will become famous for its creative menu, superior service and design. This one of a kind restaurant is part of Patina Restaurant Group, which offers the type of opportunities, compensation, and benefits that you would expect of an industry leader.
The Pastry Chef:
Supervise, participate, coordinate, direct and administer all phases of the food production in order to maximize profit and maintain high standards and quality for the pastry shop. Develop new dessert menus for banquets, as well as other resort outlets, which include five full service restaurants. A minimum of five years in the pastry field is required. And a degree from a post-secondary culinary arts program is preferred. Ability to do decorative showpieces for buffets is also desirable. This position reports to the executive chef.
