The nationally acclaimed American Restaurant (theamericankc.com) is currently reviewing candidates for the position of Sous Chef. The restaurant is located in Kansas City, Missouri in the Crown Center area.
Chef Debbie Gold is a former James Beard Award recipient and is presently accepting applications for the position of Sous Chef in this award-winning restaurant. This position will report directly to her and assume day-to-day responsibility for culinary operations.
Successful candidates will have demonstrated success in the following areas:
Exceptional culinary skills and ability to teach in a fine dining environment
Maintain organization in fast paced environment
Build relationships with staff, vendors & guests
Proven ability to manage, motivate and develop all levels of culinary staff
Financial savvy associated with kitchen operations management
