Position Description:
Whole Foods Market Edgewater, NJ is looking for someone with a passion for food. Must love quality ingredients and be excited to work with new products. Must be able to develop and prepare recipes for meat, seafood, vegetables, grocery items, cheeses, specialty products, and be able to work with nutrition/body care products.
The Demo Specialist is a key member of the in-store Marketing Team. The Demo Specialist is responsible for introducing products to customers and providing consumer product education, as well as providing customer feedback to vendors. The Demo Specialist will execute creative cooking demonstrations that showcase ingredients sold in the store and demonstrate quick cooking techniques. The Demo Specialist will execute the regional demo program at the store level. The Demo Specialist will be responsible for the execution and scheduling of team and vendor based in-store demos. Demo specialist will ensure a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and team members. Demo Specialist must be organized, a self starter, well-spoken and possess strong time management skills.
