Restaurant Manager
The Asheville Renaissance Hotel is seeking to fill the position of Restaurant Manager for this 285 room Downtown Hotel. The Restaurant Manager oversees the Hotel?s one multi-purpose Restaurant, a Lobby Bar, a Starbucks kiosk, and Room Service. The individual we are seeking is hands-on, has a desire to be highly successful and works well with other related departments. The successful candidate will need to maintain a balance between floor supervision, administration, associate training and development and a keen sense of outstanding customer service.
Experience required to be considered: prior experience in hotel food and beverage management or as a restaurant manager strong communication skills a passion for working in a team environment
Additional experience; a plus but not required: Marriott Hotel experience Micros programming experience Free-standing restaurant experience Grass-roots marketing experience Breakfast service experience ? highly desired!!
We are seeking an individual who has excellent people skills, delights in serving others and can effectively manage the day-to-day operations.
Knowledge of spirits, wine and beer is required. Procurement experience for controllables, beverage and table-top decor would be an added plus!
To be a strong candidate, you will be required to maintain positive associate relations, while driving customer satisfaction results.
