Position Description:
Looking for a Chef De Cuisine for a new contemporary Chinese restaurant concept positioned to be among the top Chinese restaurants in the Los Angeles/OC area. Our food philosophy is grounded in sourcing the highest quality fresh and local ingredients, innovative preparation and food presentation. This 145 seat restaurant is currently under design and construction, with opening scheduled for fall ?08.
Candidates will have some or all of the following qualifications:
*Experience working in a restaurant with a Chinese influence a plus *High volume Full service, Fine Dining restaurant experience preferred *Supervision of direct reports a plus *Solid track record of success in previous assignments demonstrating upward career tracking *Strong leadership skills *Ability to speak and understand Spanish and/or Chinese a plus *High level organizational skills with multi task capabilities a must. Ability to adapt to changing prioritized projects and manages work loads with minimum direction. Attention to detail and follow-through are critical to success in this position *Proficient computer skills (inventory tracking, scheduling, etc).
